Its trying to say america invented the phone thats full of shit The inventor of the phone was alexander graham bell who was Scottish and there saying the light bulb was invented in america thats wrong again it was James Watt who invented the light bulb who also was from Scotland. Scottish people invented most of the stuff we need and use every day like the T.V (John Logie Baird) BICYCLE (Kirkpatrick Macmillan) many more things is all thanks to Scottish people.

“Many important researches took place in USA…Many important discoveries happened in USA.”
It never claimed that the USA invented anything, only that the discoveries took place in the US, and the US is a place of immigrants. So yes, Alexander Graham Bell was from Scotland, but he had a US citizenship. (It’s debated that Elisha Gray was the true inventor of the variable resistant telephone, but he lost the patent to Bell.)
“Edison did not invent the first electric light bulb, but instead invented the first commercially practical incandescent light.”
Edison was a dick but he was the loudest inventor about it, so his stuff got popular. It should have been Tesla up there instead for the electricity stuff, but Edison was…more aggressive with it, you could say. History tends to favor the assholes it seems.
Just wanted to point that it never said by the US but in the US. Looks like I got a little carried away lol…
